BBB Accredited Business, A+ rating

A+ with the Better Business Bureau, and accredited.

The BBB grade is the one rating a contractor cannot buy, write for itself or ask friends to leave. It is built from complaint history and how the business handled it. Ours is an A+, and you can read the profile yourself rather than take the badge’s word for it.

What the grade measures

How the BBB gets to a letter

The BBB scores businesses on a points system and turns the score into a grade from A+ down to F. Reviews are shown on the profile but are not what the grade is made of. The grade comes from things a business cannot stage:

Complaint history

How many complaints have been filed, how serious they were, and whether the business answered and resolved them.

Transparency

Whether the business is open about who owns it, where it operates and what it sells.

Licensing and government action

Whether required licences are in place and whether any regulator has taken action against the business.

Honouring commitments

Whether the business follows through on what it promised the BBB and its customers — including the terms of the accreditation itself.

Accredited, not just rated

What the accreditation adds

Any business gets a BBB grade whether it wants one or not. Accreditation is different: the business applies, the BBB reviews it against its Standards for Trust, and the business agrees to keep meeting them — advertising honestly, telling the truth about what it sells, honouring its promises, and answering every complaint the BBB forwards. Lose the standards and you lose the seal. For a homeowner it means there is a referee with a process behind the handshake, and that we agreed to be bound by it.

What it means for your job

Three practical things

  • You can read our complaint history before you call. It is on the profile, unedited, with our responses.
  • If something ever goes wrong that we do not put right, you have somewhere to take it that we have already agreed to answer to.
  • The people you deal with are the same ones the profile is about — our Lancaster office at 2348 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601, not a lead-generation site reselling your address.

The estimate is free and the diagnosis is honest — the BBB would hear about it otherwise.
